This year the Wellesley Public School is utilizing a new system, ArxEd: LITIX Academy<\/strong>, to provide staff with annual mandatory training.  This platform will replace the Google slide deck used in years past.  ArxEd: LITIX Academy <\/strong>offers training through a series of brief videos, accompanied by some content created specifically for and by WPS staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No later than 4:00pm on October 31, 2025, staff are expected to complete the training in its entirety. The training can be completed in one session or in stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

State Ethics Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the district mandatory training, the State Ethics Commission created an online mandatory training program for all staff.  Public employees must complete the online training program within 30 days of appointment, and then every 2 years thereafter. Public employees must acknowledge in writing that they received the summary of the conflict of interest law within 30 days of election or appointment, and then annually thereafter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access the learning management system, new employees must create an account using\u00a0this\u00a0link<\/a>. Select \u201cWellesley\u201d and enter Wellesley School Department as your \u201cdepartment, board or agency.\u201d An access code will be sent to your email address from \u201cnoreply@skillburst.com<\/a>\u201d and will provide you with the link to create your password and begin the training.\u00a0For employees who have already created an account, they will receive periodic reminders about required tasks from\u00a0noreply@skillburst.com<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Completion of these mandatory training and education requirements will be automatically recorded with the State Ethics Commission.\u00a0 Employees are not required to send the certificates of completion to Human Resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KnowBe4 Cybersecurity Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will be assigned to an online asynchronous Cybersecurity Training Path based on your role at WPS. Look for an e-mail from training.knowbe4.com with the subject line \u201cYou’ve been enrolled in WPS Cybersecurity Training from KnowBe4.\u201d The e-mail will contain your unique link<\/strong> to begin the training, and you will receive periodic reminders until it is completed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
